"Anthony Crivello
as the Phantom in Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular"
“Crivello,
who won a 1995 Tony Award for his work in Kiss of the Spider Woman,
has reunited with that production’s director, Hal Prince, in Las Vegas. ‘At the end of my Broadway run of Kiss of the Spider Woman, Hal commented to me, ‘Tony, one of
these days we have to get you playing the Phantom,’ Crivello says. ‘Eleven years later, here I am. Hal is indeed
a man of his word.’”

Las Vegas Review
"A veteran of Broadway as
well as amazing in voice and presence, his embodiment of the Phantom not only captures a horrifically deformed monster but
also a vulnerable person. In fact, I found that I liked this character even when he did terrible things and was almost rooting
for him to end up with Christine in the epic love triangle."
